The Rematch

2/12 Trailblazers vs. Pink Panthers - The day we had been looking for had finally come. As we walked into the Fairview Gymnasium anticipation filled the court. Feeling confident from their win earlier in the season, the majority of the Pink Panthers, along with Coach Connelly, the chiropractor, strode in at just around game time. Big mistake. After witnessing this, the girls and I planned out the perfect was to humiliate and punish this team for their arrogance. So we let them have the first half, their were up by eight after the first quarter, four at the half, and then I unleashed the incessant fury of the Trailblazers. Casual observers could barely watch. Several people were seen leaving the gym, unable to witness the harrowing assault the Trailblazers put on the Panthers. The Trailblazers exacted their revenge by a score of 28 - 14. Maybe that'll teach that weird chiropractor to stop winking at me.

Record: 8 - 1

Skittles: Taste the Suck

2/5 Trailblazers vs. Pink Skittles - LIke most of their fans, the Trailblazers were looking past this game into next week, the Big Rematch. But for some unfathomable reason, we had to play this one out anyway. We got off to a surprisingly shaky start, only winning by six at the end of the first quarter. However that didn't last long and before you could say "That is the gayest name for a team that I've ever heard," the score was 32 - 10. After a few generous substitutions the score ended up being 34 -18. After the game, instead of just accepting their loss, and the fact that they are poor coaches, the dismal duo of Lewis/Noulis decided to blame it on the fact that they only had five players, and my insensitive press. They were even bold enough to lecture me on the eithics of my coaching. The second game of the day had to be delayed while parent volunteers mopped up the tears on the court.

Record: 7 - 1
